Join us for an interactive exploration to help ourselves develop healthy habits of mind, increase emotional intelligence and keep ourselves grounded in the present moment.
In both seated and reclined positions, we’ll enjoy some gentle yoga stretches to help relax and loosen the physical body. Soothe achy hips, gently stretch the shoulders and torso, and release tension around the eyes, jaw, and neck.
Turn inward with attention on the breath and learn to soothe the body from the inside out. Let the breath help you feel the connection between the mind, body, and spirit.
Enjoy a reclined, guided journey to relax the body and move into meditation to release stress.
When Lisa Sheehan, MA, RYT-200 holds a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology and is a registered Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction instructor at the UMASS Medical School Center for Mindfulness.
