Ariadne is a licensed massage therapist, Kripalu yoga teacher and Occupational Therapist with 25+ years of experience. Her unique approach to therapeutic bodywork sessions is rooted in the fundamentals of holistic injury prevention and rehabilitation, deep tissue massage, meditation and yoga. After receiving her B.S. in Occupational Therapy from Boston University (1995) and a Certificate of Muscular Therapy (1998) at The Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge MA she began offering a holistic blend of traditional occupational therapy, meditation and massage therapy to her patients in orthopedic, oncology and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. Upon returning to her home state of CT, she and her husband grew into a family of 5 (+4 if you add in the furry kids). Since 2003, Ariadne has delved into the study of yoga at The Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and currently holds her professional level 500- hour Yoga Instructor Certificate. She is also certified in Prenatal/ Postnatal Yoga and Massage, Reiki, Positional Therapy, Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra. She wholeheartedly believes these practices of mindful, compassionate embodiment support one's journey towards physical, mental and emotional health. She believes yoga, meditation and therapeutic bodywork awaken the natural intelligence of the body-mind-heart-spirit and support a more compassionate, joy-filled engagement with life.

Ariadne (Ari) cherishes any opportunity to share these healing modalities. She currently provides massage therapy to home hospice patients through Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Fairfield County, facilitates a variety of yoga classes in the Fairfield area, enjoys walks in the woods with her husband and pups, is a lead singer in her band- Turn on Red, is dreaming up new plans for her garden, and is thrilled (sometimes terrified) as she observes her 3 teenage sons navigate high school and college.
